Accord Wars Trial #16

Accord Wars Trial #16 was not close. The Cunning Champions did not just win, they ran the table.

By the end of the Trial, the Champions had opened a massive gap, finishing with 2791 points and leaving the rest of the board scrambling. The Alusian Pathfinders followed in second with 1500 points, while the Sovereign Warriors trailed far behind at 310. It was one of the most decisive Champion victories of the season and a clear signal that the balance of power is shifting.

While the Pathfinders have dominated much of the season through consistency, Trial #16 showed they now have real competition. The Champions combined explosive pod wins with relentless pressure across all three rounds, and for once, the Pathfinders could not match the pace.

The Winners

Round 1: The Opener

Round 1 opened with the Champions immediately asserting control, while the Xandrians quietly put more pressure on the board than usual.

Pod A: Beezneezy wasted no time establishing dominance, locking in both Brawlmaster and Survivalist and setting the tone for the night. Mediados slipped in to claim Shardmaster, keeping the pod competitive but clearly under Champion control.

Pod B: Pod B belonged to the Xandrians early. XN-1132 carved out Survivalist and Brawlmaster, while TejonMx picked up Shardmaster. It was a strong showing that hinted this Trial would not be business as usual.

Pod C: Pod C saw a steady, efficient performance from the Champions as Luchapetal secured Survivalist and Brawlmaster. Gauldar answered with Shardmaster, preventing a full sweep and keeping the pod contested.

Pod D: Pod D closed the round with Schumaniac delivering a clean double, taking both Survivalist and Shardmaster. XN-1115 grabbed Brawlmaster, but by the end of the round the Champions were already stacking momentum.

Round One

Round 2: The Setup

Round 2 is where the Champions stopped trading blows and started building separation.

Pod A: Pod A was controlled by TejonMx, who secured both Survivalist and Shardmaster, while XN-1134 picked up Brawlmaster. It was another solid Xandrian presence that continued to disrupt the usual flow of the Trial.

Pod B: Pod B returned to Beezneezy, who again locked down Survivalist and Brawlmaster. BehindThePlasma claimed Shardmaster, but the pod remained firmly tilted toward the Champions.

Pod C: Pod C was methodical. Macky secured Survivalist and Shardmaster with little wasted motion, while Nightwielder claimed Brawlmaster. It was not flashy, but it was exactly the kind of efficiency that keeps a lead growing.

Pod D: Pod D rounded out the round with XN-1206 taking Survivalist and Brawlmaster, and Protonprime adding Shardmaster. The Xandrians continued to show teeth, even as the Champions widened their lead elsewhere.

Round Two

Round 3: The Finisher

Round 3 removed any remaining doubt.

Pod A: Pod A belonged entirely to Beezneezy, who delivered a full triple win con and effectively slammed the door on the Trial. It was the defining moment of the night and the clearest signal that the Champions were not letting this one slip.

Pod B: Pod B added something else entirely. Protonprime secured Survivalist and Shardmaster, while Brockayla claimed Brawlmaster. Brockayla is Beezneezy’s daughter, and with that win, a second family dynasty stepped onto the Accord Wars stage. The bloodlines are no longer history, they are active.

Pod C: Pod C stayed controlled and efficient. TejonMx secured Survivalist and Shardmaster, while XN-1162 claimed Brawlmaster. No chaos, no surprises, just points locked in.

Pod D: Pod D closed the Trial with Gutterslush taking Survivalist and Brawlmaster, while XN-1164 claimed Shardmaster. Even at the end, the Xandrians continued to punch above their usual weight.

The Top Five

The Accord Wars Moving Forward

Trial #16 confirmed a major shift in the season.

The Cunning Champions are no longer simply keeping pace. They are dictating the tempo of the Trials, combining explosive triple win cons with sustained pressure across every pod.

The Alusian Pathfinders remain strong, but for the first time in weeks, they were forced to play catch-up rather than control the board. Their consistency still matters, but it is no longer enough on its own.

The Sovereign Warriors struggled to find footing this Trial, while the Xandrian Handlers quietly mounted their strongest showing in recent memory, winning more pods and forcing real disruption even if it did not fully convert on the scoreboard.

With momentum clearly shifting, the next Trial will determine whether the Champions can sustain this dominance or if the Pathfinders will reclaim control of the season.
