Chaos Agents Accord Wars Trial #2 Recap
On Friday, September 12th, the second Chaos Agents Accord Wars Trial kicked off with fearless competitors from each Accord battling head-to-head. Each Accord fought to push their faction to the top of the leaderboards for a chance to claim a brand-new generation of Boosted Agents before their official launch.
Round 1
Before the matches began, Accord teams were huddled in Discord chats, strategizing and laying out their plans of attack. As the last few signups trickled in, the first Trial pod was ready to launch — and the tension was palpable.
Every Accord started at zero: 0 points, 0 win conditions, and full of confidence. As pods dropped in, the coordination began:
“I’m dropping in the arena.”
“I’ve got a collect Agent — start brawling as soon as you can.”
“Don’t go full attack when I hit the Oasis.”
Pod A
It was an Alusian Pathfinder’s dream. Luchapetal, piloting The Merchant of Pew Pew, secured Brawlmaster and Survivalist with a massive 3 KOs, quickly pushing the Pathfinders’ total to 200+ points. But the Sovereign Warriors weren’t silent for long — Endofsignal, with Caelestia, Bestower of Small Inconveniences, claimed Shardmaster, putting the Warriors on the board.
Pod B
This pod unfortunately crashed in the later rounds, but not before Madjack with Eloweth, Harmony Welder and Draknab with Séverin, Gallant Pulse Aligner — both Sovereign Warriors — locked down all the win conditions. The Warriors left the pod with a commanding lead. (Final point totals for Pod B will be released Monday, September 15th.)
Pod C
Pickles and The Censor of Laughable Pride carried the Cunning Champions, pulling in Brawlmaster and Survivalist with a huge 4-KO match. The Pathfinders stayed in the race thanks to newcomer Hixter and Ivar the Twice-Bound, who claimed Shardmaster to extend their lead.
Pod D
A nail-biter. Macky and Lafitte the Wild were holding all three win conditions late, but Gutterslush and Machina Cassian, Cleric of the Core clutched Brawlmaster and Survivalist with 2 KOs, denying the Champions a sweep. The Pathfinders’ double win condition pushed them over 500+ points and into the overall lead after Round 1.
Round 2
The Discord voice chats lit up — trash talk, frantic adjustments, and wild speculation. Then came the Trialmaster’s voice:
“Your next trial match is ready… Join now.”
Silence fell as Brokers funneled into their pods.
Pod A
Stacked with Alusian Pathfinders, this pod featured the return of World Champion Cephalon9999 piloting Lavin “I Squash You” Nomatterwhatus. They wasted no time proving their reputation, earning Shardmaster and Survivalist for the Pathfinders. Still, the Warriors found a spark as blazevortex and The Illustrious Thuddo, Aspiring Bard snagged Brawlmaster to keep their hopes alive.
Pod B
An absolute masterclass from Pickles and The Censor of Laughable Pride. They achieved a triple win condition sweep — Brawlmaster, Survivalist, and Shardmaster — pulling the Champions closer to the #1 spot.
Pod C
The Sovereign Warriors roared back. Draknab with Séverin, Gallant Pulse Aligner took Brawlmaster with 4 KOs and nearly outlasted Macky with Lafitte the Wild until Round 24. Macky held on just long enough to earn Shardmaster for the Champions. The Warriors banked critical KO points, but was it enough?
Pod D
The “questionable” Xandrian Handler imposter Protonprime and Zyra “No Mercy” Kael dropped jaws with a double win — Brawlmaster and Survivalist — backed by 6 KOs. The Pathfinders surged up the leaderboard again. But the Champions answered: Raventhon and Jeb! the Hardscrabble Champion of Misplaced Trust collected a staggering 37 shards, securing Shardmaster and keeping the Champions at #1 heading into the final round.
Round 3
The final round. With the Pathfinders and Champions neck-and-neck, tension peaked. Voice chats went dead silent as Brokers waited to see pod assignments.
Pod A
From nowhere, the Xandrian Handlers stunned the field. XN-1060 and The Reine from Cœurlombre claimed a triple win condition sweep. While the Handlers had no shot at winning the Trial overall, this internal victory sparked pride and momentum within their Accord.
Pod B
The Pathfinders struck back. Protonprime with Zyra “No Mercy” Kael earned Survivalist, while Gutterslush with Machina Cassian, Cleric of the Core locked in Brawlmaster. A critical double win that kept the Pathfinders’ title hopes alive.
Pod C
The Champions’ trio — Raventhon, GhostCircuit, and Macky — worked flawlessly together, shutting down World Champion Cephalon9999 and sweeping all three win conditions. The Champions’ victory hopes were burning bright.
Pod D
And then the cherry on top: Pickles once again delivered a TRIPLE WIN CONDITION with The Censor of Laughable Pride. It was the decisive blow. The Champions surged past the Pathfinders and secured Trial #2.
Final Notes
The Accord Wars are officially ablaze, and every trial pushes the tension higher. The Alusian Pathfinders may still hold the overall lead, but the Cunning Champions, Sovereign Warriors, and Xandrian Handlers are storming closer with every Trial.
With the Champions claiming this week’s victory and unlocking a new generation of Agents, the battlefield has shifted — and it’s only the beginning.
