Chaos Agents 1.9.3.6 is LIVE!

We are excited to deliver Chaos Agents 1.9.3.6 to our production servers, available to play on today!
Outside of the standard bug fixes and minor polish items, which you can view at the end of this blog, Patch 1.9.3.6 delivers two exciting new features: Agent Progression and Broker Vaults.
AGENT PROGRESSION
Agent progression is a new way for you to advance your Agents across multiple matches. We’ve had Broker levels for a little while now, but we felt like a progression system for your Agents that rewarded time and skill was needed. Our goal with the system is simple: every match you play has the potential to advance your Agent’s standings in the Firmament.
After each multiplayer match, if you took home a winner’s crown (Brawlmaster, Survivalist, or Shardmaster) we compare you to all the Agents you defeated and award you points towards advancing your rank in that win condition. The number of points is based on the individual ranks of all the Agents you beat. You’ll get a lot of points for each Agent you compete against who’s higher-ranked than you, a few points for each Agent the same rank, and no points for lower-ranked Agents.

Every 200 points will advance you a rank, and there’s currently no cap on how far you can take your Agents. We’re excited to see where you all take this new system and will continue to monitor and evaluate it. Jump into a match, win a victory condition and prove you have the best Chaos Agent!
BROKER VAULTS
Broker vaults are an exciting new way for you to view all of your awesome accomplishments as a Broker! All your medals, trophies, currencies, Agents and more can now be found in the Broker Vaults.

We want you to have a place to go to bask in all your accomplishments and really celebrate all the victories, both big and small. This space is made to catalog and present all the stuff that you have earned in a fun way! We have big plans to make this more immersive in the narrative of Chaos Agents and are excited to begin that journey with you!
Along with the Vault, we’ve added in Trophies! These are special awards for victories in Trials. More trophy types will be added in the future!

OTHER FEATURES
POST KO PROMPT V1.0
Ever had your agent knocked out in a match? Been wondering how you did and what you should do next? This UI screen is meant to ease that transition as we mourn our Agent being KOed.

We want to help speed up the ‘what’s next’ after your Agent has been KOed. After a brief summary of how you’ve done so far, you can spectate the nefarious Agent who KOed you, or jump out of the match to queue again.
You’ll have to wait for the match to end to see whether you are the Brawlmaster or Shardmaster, but at least we know where you landed for Survivalist!
NEW UI: VICTORY SCREENS AND LEADERBOARD
We are always looking to improve and evolve our UI, and after much internal discussion we decided that we wanted to pivot towards a more modern containerless vision (Much to Draknab, the Bevel Lord’s deep sadness - he does love his bevels). For Patch 1.9.3.6 we’re tackling the victory screens, as they’re a somewhat simple area to rework with this new vision in mind. The match victors, leaderboard summary, and rewards screen have all seen an initial pass to bring them to our new UI visual target. As an added benefit, the regular leaderboard has been adjusted as well.
We’ve excited for these new screens because they better highlight the awesome Agents with their look and feel. Send us your feedback as you play through your matches!

Agent Progression: A brand new out of match progression system where Agents can now gain ranks by defeating other ranked agents for each victory condition multiplayer matches and Trials
Broker Vaults: Brokers can now visit their Vault (on the left navigation menu) to see all the medals, agents, and other items they’ve earned in one place.
Post-KO Message: A new end-match prompt after your Agent has been KOed where you can choose to spectate or jump out of the match.

Balance
Shard Cooldown time has been reduced to 10 seconds
Sharder Mk I has an additional effect “-20% Shard Collection time”
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where players were not being credited rewards for their Missions being completed — everyone has been retroactively credited for their progress
Reduced Shard collection cooldown to 10s from 12s and updated Sharder Mk I to reduce Shard collection time by 20%
Agents on Attack strategy will now properly harvest Shards when there are no enemies in vision range to respect victory condition prioritization
Look/feel improvements to Campaigns and Mission pages
Scrolling in the menus should now be properly scaled
Improved how the map boundary looks from outside to make the gameplay zone more readable
Improved server load balancer
Known Issues
Some Clausius and Rhodian models are too large on the end-screens.
Occasionally Agents get stuck behind large objects like the Spaceship. Switch to Survive for a round to alleviate this.
