Encore Gold Trial Recap - July 19th
This past Saturday, we hosted an unforgettable Gold Trial, and the competition was nothing short of electric.
With four full pods battling through multiple rounds, we saw an incredible mix of Chaos Agents veterans and fresh Alpha recruits — and the level of play was so high, you’d never know some players had only been with us for a month.
We saw 21 competitors, along with 3 scrappy Xandrians, competing for the coveted Gold slots.

Round 1 Highlights
Each pod was packed with action, and the victories were as diverse as the players themselves:
Pod A
- A true nail-biter with three separate victors taking different win conditions.
- Brawlmaster: Quasar, Gravity Architect piloted by DJHelsing with 2 KOs.
- Shardmaster: Eirikr Saffi piloted by pmm5000 with 31 shards.
- Survivalist: Nox Varn & Cephalon9999 surviving after taking 1,392 damage.
Pod B
- Daredevell2 and Starstrike from Sylvaglade dominated, winning Brawlmaster & Survivalist.
- Shardmaster went to Faltanix, the Broken Belt and their broker ImNumber01 with 30 shards.
Pod C
- History was made: SpaceCow8oy & Gillie the Grizzled became the first-ever duo to sweep all three win conditions in a single round, proving why SpaceCow8oy remains a fan favorite.
Pod D
- Two Xandrians fought for Brawlmaster and Shardmaster, but SammytheBard & Jourdain Dupont closed it out as Survivalist, landing the final KO in Round 19.
Round 2 Highlights
The intensity ramped up and so did the stakes:
Pod A
- Thelúrin, Possible Android and Ex_tech took Brawlmaster & Survivalist with 5 KOs.
- Shardmaster: Broker XN-1098 with 29 shards.
Pod B
- A back-and-forth brawl with three victors:
- Survivalist: Cebula the Shorn piloted by MasterTyler.
- Shardmaster: Gillie the Grizzled and SpaceCow8oy.
- Brawlmaster: Vernon, Ferocious Devourer with their pilot Gutterslush had 3 KOs.
Pod C
- Faltanix, the Broken Belt and ImNumber01 scored another double win condition (Shardmaster & Survivalist).
- Brawlmaster: BGG and their Agent Amee, the Northern Technomancer had 2 KOs and delt 2,065 damage*.
Pod D
- Starstrike from Sylvaglade with their broker Daredevell2 achieved KO’s, securing Brawlmaster & Survivalist.
- Shardmaster: MadJack and their agent Eloweth, Harmony Welder collected 28 shards.
The voice chats were electric — strategy, trash talk, and hype filled the air as players battled for a shot at the Finals.
The Finals Showdown
Eight elite players advanced, fighting all the way to Round 30 in one of the most intense Gold Trial matches to date.
The titles were undecided until the final moments:
- Brawlmaster: Ex_tech & Thelúrin landed a devastating 80+ crit KO with 5 seconds left, denying Gillie the Grizzled’s survival lead and locking in the title.
- Shardmaster & Survivalist: Cephalon9999 & Nox Varn survived the chaos, claiming a 6 shard lead and soaking 1,496 damage in the final round.
Ex_tech and Cephalon9999 now advance to the Chaos Agents Grand Finals, where they’ll fight for the title of 2025 Chaos Agents World Champion.
