Welcome to the Patch Notes for release 1.9.3.12! We’ve been keeping this patch close to the vest because it has some big changes that will alter how you think about Agents and we didn’t want folks to gain an unfair advantage. That said, let’s dive in!


RANK YOUR AGENTS UP TO MAKE THEM MORE VALUABLE!
As of today, Agent contracts on the marketplace are priced based on the Agent’s ranks. Our goal with this system is that the time and skill you put into growing an Agent’s rank is rewarded by making it more valuable on the secondary market.

You can capture value by trading Agent contracts back to the marketplace in exchange for BC. The market will sell Agents for their new value, rather than the flat 1000 BC of the past. What this means is:

  1. You can level up an Agent, sell its contract to the market, and rake in some BC to spend on a new contract

  2. New Agents will cost less, with the lowest cost Agent contract now coming in at 300BC

  3. Well-established high-rank Agents will cost more on the market

In addition to the Market changes, we’ve made some alterations to how currencies work in the game. Agent Contract Tokens (ACT) will become more common and be an alternate way to pay for the costs of new Agents. An ACT will be worth 1000BC and can be utilized in place of (or in addition to) BC.

Agent Trade Tokens are going to be significantly more rare. They are now a “Golden Ticket” style currency that pays for the entire value of an Agent’s contract. Whether you want an Agent that costs 3000 BC or 15000 BC, you can use a single ATT to pay for it.

Because of these changes, we’ve updated your count of these currencies and adjusted rewards in the future. Your current ACTs have been multiplied by 5, your current ATTs have been reduced to a maximum of 1, and any additional ATTs have been converted to BC at a rate of 1 ATT : 5000BC

MORE MISSIONS FOR ACCORD WARS AND THE MARKET
We’ve added new Missions related to the Accord Trials. We want to break out Accord Trial progress separately from the Gold Championship trials so that you have missions to accomplish during both types of championships.

To go along with the new marketplace for Agents, we’ve also added in many new Missions related to Agents - leveling them up, selling, and buying them. You’ll earn rewards for hitting milestone ranks and interacting with the market - both buying and selling.

Lastly, we’ve released a large rebalancing of Mission rewards across the board. Our goal was to have rewards more closely synced to the play effort involved in completing the mission. This means that we have also reworked Broker Levels and their Reputation requirements. To go along with this rebalancing we’ve also added in a flurry of new rewards peppered throughout Mission packs and Broker Levels. Check out the new Titles and profile pics spread throughout.

A FLURRY OF NOTIFICATIONS
We’ve greatly enhanced the Notification system, adding several new notification types mostly focused around upcoming Trials as well as email notifications for important reminders. In addition, we’ve tweaked formatting and language for many of the existing notifications to improve the player experience.

DEFEATING BUGS
Although this is part of the previous minor release, we do want to call out the defeat of the ‘1 second bug’ (Nee: Macky Bug). Our team worked diligently to chase down this very complex bug and are excited to have solved it. We continue to chase down bugs that impact the community. As always, please report bugs to us. We take bug reports seriously and even when they’re not immediately acted upon we do prioritize and discuss all the feedback.


Smaller Fixes and Improvements:

  • Marathoner (Space) cost adjusted from 10 to 20.
  • Speed Loader (Space) cost adjusted from 20 to 10.
  • Agents with Marathoner or Speed Loader have had their skills reshuffled to move the skills to valid positions in the skill tree.
  • Added new sound triggers around the start of trials and matches
  • Changed Evasion and Crit Chance to use nominal numbers
  • Add tooltip for attacks/skills to show cooldown timers
  • When you alt-tab out of the game, music and sounds stop
  • Improved the look and feel of the grass in the game
  • Fixed a bug related to where the slider is for choosing your health
  • Fixed a bug where the Survivalist win condition shows the wrong number of rounds
  • Fixed a bug where the mouse wheel still worked on the camera during the end-game screens
