Call me by my dream name.
I could draw before I could speak. Even now I prefer it.
I’ve worked as an illustrator, designer, and an art director. Most of my career was spent bringing the iconic characters of Disney to life in both digital and physical form. Over the past few years I’ve focused on being a freelance illustrator, which has allowed me to sneak in skulls and creepy crawly things from time to time.
I’m also a collector. Of almost everything that has to do with geek culture, ‘70s suspense and horror films, and fairy tales that lean dark. Comics and cartoons are guaranteed to fuel my creative spark, and I never seem to get my fill.
I’m the Creative Director for Popularium. In this role, I am able to take all of my interests, my experiences, and my skills and blend them together to create something deeply personal and unique. I think of the entire project as a large and all-encompassing work of art. It’s incredibly ambitious, and maybe that is why I am so drawn to it. Get it?
By the way, there is nothing better than a good stiff drink and it always tastes better served in the proper glassware. Trust me.
