In yet another juicy turn of events, Chaos Broker Extraordinaire MasterTyler politely but firmly declined the unprecedented offer from Ulfsbay to recruit the legendary Olaf the Ancestor to their House under a Permanent Contract–at no cost.
While the mysterious MasterTyler’s reasons for declining this magnanimous offer are their own, this indicates strong loyalty towards Cebula the Shorn from Ulbsay, who led MasterTyler to the Shardmaster Gold Medal at the First World Invitational.
However, MasterTyler’s quest for a second Gold Medal to qualify for the Grand Finals of the Second World Championship fell tragically short with a 5th place finish in the Finals of Gold Trial #4. No doubt MasterTyler and faithful Cebula the Shorn are gearing up for yet another gauntlet during Gold Trial #5, possibly the final opportunity to qualify for the Grand Finals.
In another interesting turn of events, Olaf the Ancestor, who my friend Valkyr mentioned was coming out of retirement solely for a chance fight for MasterTyler’s House, has recently accepted a Permanent Contract with Chaos Broker Schumaniac’s House. It is known that Schumaniac has ties to the Academy leadership, having been one of the Academy’s Chaos Mentors after its foundation. It will be interesting to follow Olaf’s career hereon as it seems he is well and truly back in the Chaotic mix of Shard Battles.
