I. The Community is Expanding to Reddit
One of the common pieces of feedback we’ve received is that there’s not a good channel to have your typical forum back and forth discussions around Chaos Agents. We’re excited to announce that we are going to be slowly rolling out our Reddit community over the next two weeks. This will mean that if Reddit is your go-to source of information you’ll be able to tap into all the community happenings in a new location.
As part of that rollout we’re looking for folks who can help us get a jump on setting up our subreddit — helping with posting articles, commenting, and of course the normal ‘upvoting and sharing.’ If you’re a Reddit fan and want to help out, please shoot a note to playtestadmin@popularium.com and we’ll bring you into the circle.
II. Upcoming Official Tournaments
Our Second Road to Gold Championship schedule continues with a series of tournaments running from 9/30 through 10/11. Starting on 10/1, we’ll be hosting Iron or Bronze tournaments every Tuesday and Thursday. The excitement will culminate in another Silver tournament on October 11th at 4 PM PT. For more details, be sure to check the Discord announcements and events section.
Now’s the time to plan for one of the Bronze tournaments and prepare for the upcoming Silver tournament —your only path into the prestigious Gold Championship.
There are only a handful of Silver Tournaments before the next Gold Championship, so don’t miss the next Silver Tournament. Need a Silver Ticket? Play in as many Bronze Tourneys as you can or entice a Silver ticket holder to trade with you!

— Iron Tournament: Free entry
— Bronze Tournament: Requires a Bronze Ticket or 2 Iron Tickets
— Silver Tournament: Requires 1 Silver Ticket
— Gold Championship Tournament: 1 Gold Ticket

The map you fight on is in fact on planet Altareth, within a massive gorge at the Altareth River Valley, a spectacular natural phenomenon in the midst of the fabled Alta Mountains, and a favorite destination of Altareth City denizens and visitors from all over the Firmament — until Chaos returned. “The Popularium team had to get ourselves to Indianapolis for the August 1 kickoff at Gen Con.
Our team was coming from different parts of the world: Jon and Sirtaj were flying in from Southern California, Kyle was coming in from the Fresno area, and I (Arka) was flying in from my Mumbai, India, at the end of a long trip.
With some last minute planning, our marketing partner Corvian Marketing was able to send someone to us at Gen Con by driving to Indianapolis from Chicago.
It wasn’t enough to get ourselves to Gen Con; we also needed to ensure that the equipment and promotional materials made it out to Gen Con too.”
VII. Leaderboards!
One of the things we’re most excited about featuring is the new leaderboards page. Sortable in innumerable ways and covering everything from Broker stats (all matches played by an individual Broker) to Accord stats, and even to detailed breakdowns on individual Agents, the leaderboard can be both the home for tracking how you stack up against the other Brokers and a valuable resource when it comes to quickly determining some of the aspects of Agents you’re matched up against in a specific match.
